How to Measure Your Vertical Jump

In order to determine how high you can jump you must stand next to a wall and reach as high as you can without lifting your heels off of the floor. Put a piece of tape at the point where you can reach. Then jump as high as you can several times and mark the spot. Measure the difference between the two spots and that is your standing vertical jump.

How to Measure Progress in M.V.P. Vertical Jump Program

The vast majority of people buying the Maximum Vertical Jump Program are looking to dunk a basketball. That is why we measure progress not with inches, but in what type of ball you can dunk. In the DVD, you are shown progressive dunking. You may have to start with just touching the rim, then working your way to a golf ball, to a softball, to a volleyball, and eventually a basketball. The number of inches you add isn't as important as what you dunk. Progressive dunking is a better measure of your increased leaping ability as many people will tend to fudge on the number in inches increased simply because they want to feel they are increasing their leaping ability.
